Mega donations for MAA

The newly elected executive body of the Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA) came in to power in a glittering ceremony yesterday. President Rajendra Prasad took oath and vowed to work towards fulfilling of his poll promises. On this occasion, Naga Babu, who backed Rajendra Prasad’s panel announced a donation of 6 lakhs from the Mega family.

Stating that the Mega family will always be on the poor and struggling employees side, Naga Babu said that Ram Charan (2 lakhs), Allu Arjun (2 lakhs), Varun Tej (1 lakh) and Sai Dharm Tej (1 lakh) have chipped in with their donations to continue with the developmental activities in MAA.

This is just the beginning for the Rajendra Prasad headed executive body, which aims to collect the promised 5 crore fund. This fund will be used for various welfare activities of MAA members.

Sai Dharam Tej’s wait is finally over as his debut film hit the scenes yesterday. Even though the film opened to mixed reviews all over, Sai has been garnering huge praise for his performance.

The successful combination of Trivikram Srinivas and Allu Arjun have teamed up again for S/O Satyamurthy. The film is nearing its release on the 9th of April and a special promotional video has been planned by the team.

Music sensation Devi Sri Prasad and Allu Arjun will feature in a special promotional video which will be released soon. This is the second time that Devi and Bunny have featured in a special video. Even for Julayi, they made a video called Pakdo Pakdo which went on to become a huge hit.

Charan next movie revealed

After a long break, Megapowerstar Ram Charan is finally gearing up to shoot for hisupcoming film in Sreenu Vaitla’s direction. Tentatively titled ‘Mera Naam Raju’, the film’s regular shoot will commence soon and Ram Charan has been preparing for his role quite seriously and has been working on his look for the last couple of months.

As per the latest buzz, Ram Charan will be playing a stuntman’s role in the film. The film is touted to be an exciting action thriller and Cherry has been developing a chiseled body to suit his character. Rakul Preet plays Ram Charan’s love interest while SS Thaman is the film’s music composer.

Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan penned the story for this film which will be produced by DVV Dananyya.
